A little redesign of dRAG-1 since I've been on a Dragon-Class design spree of late
I wanted to try giving Joseph's perspective on his designs as he got them to paper, so I gave this blueprint idea a go. Turned out alright I think! It's different from a straight forward drawing anyway :3
I jotted down a little bit for story's sake as well, because I haven't really give much character to Mr. Rawson yet, shame on me. Hopefully you can see his possession taking more control as we progress toward dRAG-7 ^_^
DIMENSIONS: HEIGHT - 78.83 LENGTH - 120+ WINGSPAN - 150+ at full extension

ADDITIONAL:
- Too many times now my creation created of original plans has been destroyed, it seems almost like a game to 0029. Like a child tearing the legs from a spider it destroys my precious dRAG-bot every time he is built.
But no more. 0029 may have little trouble with my original dragon-class, but SEVEN of them! My subordinates are brain storming as we speak, taking the information gathered from original dRAG-bots cameras and black boxes. So far only one concept of five has struck me as satisfactory, the creators of the other four were ...severely punished for wasting my time.
While they work, I dedicated my newly found time in solitary to make changes to the original dRAG-bot, to create a Mark 2 version. The originals were destroyed in much the same way: the spine spikes dont seem to deter 0029, shearing through them easily enough. The hands were easily enough removed as well, disabling a key weapon in the process. Too often they were also found separated from the electro-magnet and without fully functioning wings.
So, to rectify these flaws! A genius must learn from his mistakes... The trouble with the spikes seems to be shape 0029s beak can get an easy grip on the boxed shape, a more circular design may be in order. Taking the weaponry from the hands would solve removal of weaponry should the hands be severed ...maybe placing them further up the arm would be more sufficient, the structure is much more sturdy there. Forearm seems a good placement. The wings will simply need strengthening; they too were too box-like. The separation of the body is more problematic ...I will perhaps have to work on a stronger electro-magnetic ball joint system. I could simply be underestimating 0029, but tearing the torso from the ball joint would be no simple task ordinarily. Additionally the wings and perhaps feet could have booster jets implemented. dRAG-1s speed easily matched 0029s in-flight with no propulsion at all, outrunning the beast will help greatly. Extra hydraulics should defiantly be added to joints and the jaws also, lets not hold back any longer.
Is really cooool. It's great that you think your critters out in such detail Is the symbol at the top labled '1' a symbol on him? The logo for the science dept?
