- Obviously we’re misunderestimating this creature. Our robots, designed with every eventuality in mind, are still falling. The Mk. 2 dRAG-1 is coming back in less pieces at least...
So! To counter this, obviously we must press forward with the last three robots. dRAG-2 isn’t lasting nearly as long as we’d hoped despite it’s submersability, 0029 seems to simply drag the bot from the ground. The next dragon-class simply must be based on the ground to aid dRAG-2.

dRAG-4 should be a hulk – huge no matter where you look at it and packing a gigantic punch. We ...pardon, I was inspired by Gorilla and legendary Centaur for this one, a bit strange for me. It’s on odd combination that just works, especially with the reptilian spin I added. Rather than horse legs those similar in appearance to Varanus komodoensis (The Komodo Dragon) where used. Provided the armament desired is okayed, dRAG-4 will have a nice sturdy base when firing weaponry.
The bot will probably be the greatest in mass made so far. Many large parts are going into it to make it as resilient as possible, so I’m glad I didn’t push my luck and try to make it fly!
Weaponry will be the main focus of the bot. Housed in it’s head casing are the usual plasma cannon and the very successful missile launchers tested in dRAG-3, as well as new experimental directed energy weaponry behind the eye displays. Each shoulder houses a Missile Pod each, a larger directed energy weapon in either shoulder plate, a forearm-mounted plasma super-cannon, heat-seeking missile launchers that extend from the mid-portion and the tail’s interchangeable drill weapon can be replaced with a directed energy weapon similar to the ones used in the shoulder plating. A barrage from all of dRAG-4’s weapons would likely level an area of woodland in a few seconds, so 0029 would easily stand little to no chance. As a precautionary measure though, we are doubling the thickness of the casing and keeping the spikes along the neck and tail.

0029 is testing my patience, and hopefully dRAG-4 will rid us of this headache soon enough so as to focus our required attention elsewhere.
